The "strip" or "bar" tests distributed by bmd use the membrane immuno-chromatography technique producing reliable results in 5 to 15 minutes. These tests are also available for the detection of drugs in accordance with the current legislation.

In the work environment and in traffic, the regulations stipulate narcotic and psychotropic drug testing in employees or road accident victims. 1.3 million French people are regular users of cannabis, while 1 to 3 million have experimented with cocaine, ecstasy and heroin (OFDT). The rapid test format is particularly suitable for screening in urine and gives high-specificity and sensitivity results in less than 10 minutes. bmd offers you panel or unit tests, broken down into 3 formats according to the urine collection method.

Cardiodetect® is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the measurement of the Fatty Acid Binding Protein (h-FABP) in total blood, serum or plasma. It is used for the differential diagnostic of stroke. This innovative test has proven its efficiency early after the symptoms have arosen with faster results than those obtained with the measurement of troponin.

The Innofluor system is used to monitor the concentration of drugs in blood patients in such fields as immuno-suppressants and antibiotics. The tests are done with the TDX® analyzer from Abbott. This machine works with the Immunofluorescent Polarisation Immuno-Analyzis (FPIA).
