Auto-Immunity

ELISIS, a comprehensive new ELISA range offering choice, homogeneity, safety and quality for your convenience.

Auto-immune diseases (AID) represent the third cause of morbidity after cardiovascular disease and cancer. AIDs can only be defined on a set of determined clinical and biological criteria, of which the auto-antibody titre is fundamental.

The bmd auto-immunity range can be adapted according to your laboratory's recruitment and activity: IFI, ELISA, DOT, Multiplex.

bmd offers a comprehensive range using reference technologies and also cutting-edge technologies to guide the auto-immune disease diagnosis (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, thrombotic diseases, etc.).

New HEp-2 range

  • Indirect immunofluorescence (IFI) remains the reference auto-antibody screening technique. Developed for bmd, this new range offers easy and convenient-to-read HEp-2 slides with a uniform cell sheet containing numerous easily identifiable mitoses. Finally, the protocols are easy to automate on CARISTM range systems.

ELISIS: bmd's new ELISA formula

  • With the ELISIS range, bmd is extending and harmonising its ELISA range by offering you the same format for each kit. A wide selection of kits meets all AID analysis requirements. Resolutely automation-oriented, ELISIS was specially devised for CARIS instruments, with standardisation of the 30-minute protocols for each incubation. ELISIS kit detection using TMB guarantees user safety. In addition, bmd offers, with its ELISIS range, a unique quality approach on the market by offering, for all annual contracts, free suitable Immunotrol range multi-parameter quality controls.

DOT: rapid unit tests

  • Rapid and qualitative auto-antibody immunoenzyme detection methods on membrane substrates are suitable for low-activity laboratories and make it possible to return a unit test response rapidly.

FIDIS™, ahead of the game in multiplex

  • The FIDIS technique developed by bmd with Luminex® technology guarantees the simultaneous and very specific detection of multiple molecules on the same sample during a single experiment. It is suitable for high-activity laboratories, requiring in-depth auto-immunity analyses.
