Current partnerships

BMD is a partner in two major projects, one of which has been awarded the Eureka label*.

The European project, AUTOCURE (Curing autoimmune diseases), is the second project in which BMD has participated since 2005. AUTOCURE is aimed at developing and evaluating new therapies for rheumatoid arthritis, and our company is the only diagnostic company involved in the participating consortium that comprises 19 European university research centres and only 6 private companies recognised for their contribution in the field of auto-immune diseases.

This cooperation is of particular interest for the company's development in several respects:

  • In the same way as the other 19 other businesses taking part, BMD will benefit from preferential rights to all the consortium's discoveries relating to diagnostics. This represents privileged access to valuable biomarkers and new potential markets.
  • As with any cooperation, the mutual development between the consortium's scientists enables our teams to make use of their talents and benefit from a profitable exchange of knowledge.
